About Your Therapist

Hey! I’m Sam, your registered massage therapist and mobility specialist. Why should you come see me? Well, for starters I’m here for you. Not only am I passionate about the work that I do, but I’m passionate about the people that I work with. I strive to provide quality treatments and experiences that let you know that we are a team.

After graduating Algonquin in 2014, I had a drive for wanting to work with athletes and spent a year working alongside the head athletic therapist at Algonquin College treating various varsity athletes in volleyball, basketball, soccer and rugby. While in Ottawa, I took every opportunity I could get to work hands on with athletes and their injuries, working with Crossfit and triathlon events, varsity Ottawa U hockey and football teams, travelling as a team therapist with Algonquin, and working with the Ottawa Red Blacks RMT. 


These days I have been training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and have found my heart in martial arts. I have the privilege to be a part of team Limitless and have worked with various coaches and athletes in the MMA community and have found a passion for treating and training fighters of all levels.

Through all this experience I learned some important things that led me in the direction I am today. I have a love for working with athletes and rehabbing injuries, however, everyone is an athlete and everyone experiences injuries. While I thrive in those environments, I also just love working with people and empowering them to take charge of their bodies and minds and giving the control back to them.

I’ve focused my continuing education in movement training, rehabilitation and prehabilitation, joint function, orthopedic massage, pain science, postural alignment, breathing techniques, foot dysfunction, and myofascial tools like cupping.

When you come to see me, I’m assessing your physical and mental health. I want to know what you're feeling, but also what the contributing factors are. If you have pain and reduced range of motion, but on top of that anxiety and stress, we need to address both. Are you a competitive athlete trying to train for a specific sport? I will work with you to help you reach your goals and optimize your training potential. Just trying to get better sleep, go for a walk, or do some yoga without pain? Let's find out what isn’t working for you and make it work.
