Samantha Lambert, RMT, FRCms.
Hey! I’m Sam, I'm a registered massage therapist with a passion for the work that I do and empowering individuals to learn more about their bodies.
After graduating Algonquin in 2014, I had a drive for wanting to work with athletes and spent a year working alongside the head athletic therapist at Algonquin College treating various varsity athletes in volleyball, basketball, soccer and rugby. While in Ottawa, I took every opportunity I could get to work hands on with athletes and their injuries, working with Crossfit and triathlon events, varsity Ottawa U hockey and football teams, and travelling as a team therapist with Algonquin. I've had a steady yoga practice since the age of 14 and have a passion for all that it brings both mentally and physically. I love to incorporate yoga concepts into mobility and massage,
teaching people how to move with confidence and bring awareness to their mental focus. I also enjoy training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and have had the opportunity to work with various coaches and athletes in the MMA community and have found a passion for treating and training fighters of all levels.
I’ve focused my continuing education in movement training, rehabilitation and prehabilitation, joint function, orthopedic massage, pain science, postural alignment, breathing techniques, foot dysfunction, and myofascial tools like cupping.
When you come to see me, I’m assessing your physical and mental health. I want to know what you're feeling, but also what the contributing factors are. If you have pain and reduced range of motion, but on top of that anxiety and stress, we need to address both. Are you a competitive athlete trying to train for a specific sport? I will work with you to help you reach your goals and optimize your training potential. Just trying to get better sleep, go for a walk, or do some yoga without pain? Let's find out what isn’t working for you and make it work.
You and me, we are a team. I don’t fix, I work to empower change and help you help yourself.
Jordan MacQuarrie RMT, FRCms.
Hey! I’m Jordan, I have been working in the Belleville community now since 2015, but am originally from Northwestern Ontario, near Thunder Bay.
For me, experience is often the best teacher, and the most important lessons seem to come from the hardest experiences. In my case, these lessons came as sport related injuries that followed me from my teenage to adult years. They greatly impacted my ability to well.. Just be. I empathize greatly with those going through acute or chronic pain because I understand the simple tasks in life all of a sudden become not so simple. Using quality assessment, Massage Therapy, Movement education and a dash of compassion, I’m here to help you find joy in those simple things again
Prior to graduating from the Massage Therapy program at Algonquin College (‘14), my studies and experience in Kinesiology laid a foundation that inspired my journey through
Massage Therapy. In Ottawa I was fortunate enough to gain experience in a variety of treatment environments. I learned quickly that every human has their own unique experience that deserves a compassionate individualized approach.
Prior to treatment, I will learn about your goals and expectations for Massage Therapy and as a team we will form the best plan of care. Treatment could include different manual techniques to help with physical symptoms like pain and tension, while also bringing in fascial tools like cupping if needed/requested. If you are just looking for a safe place to relax and destress, I am here to help with that too. To ensure you get the most out of your experience I will often provide exercises and movement education to further your progress at home.
